International
All incoming international students must complete Islander Launch orientation.
To complete the reservation/registration process, students must:
- Be admitted for Summer 2024 or Fall 2024
- Claim your Island ID/password and set up Duo 2-factor authentication
- Reserve a seat for Islander Launch Orientation
- Use the Island ID/password to view the reservation confirmation in your Islander email
Required in-person events for international summer admits (those starting classes on June 3):
- May 28 - International students must arrive in Corpus Christi, TX, USA
- May 29
- 9:00 AM Mandatory check-in (University Center Oso 226)
- 10:00 AM TB clinic (University Center Oso 221)
- May 30 - International Islander Launch Orientation
- 8:00 AM - 4:20 PM (University Center Bayview 320)
- May 31
- 10:00 AM TB result readings (University Center Oso 221)
Required in-person events for international fall admits (those starting classes on August 26):
- August 20 - International students must arrive in Corpus Christi, TX, USA
- August 21 - TB clinic
- August 22 - International Islander Launch Orientation
- August 23 - TB result readings
