System-Wide Pay Plan
The Texas A&M System will be launching a standardized collection of titles and pay ranges designed to be used for all staff across the entire System. This collection of titles will be named the Texas A&M System-Wide Pay Plan, and will enable all campuses to have access to consistent and timely information for new and existing positions. Titles, pay ranges, and standardized job descriptions will be accessible in Workday to provide useful resources for managers and employees.
The new titles and pay structures are effective December 1, 2016.
The process of creating the System-Wide Pay Plan began in 2014 with the aid of a consulting group following an audit. In an effort to streamline staff titles and promote efficient administration and consistency among System Members, The Texas A&M University System developed a new pay plan with titles and pay structures for staff positions. The purpose of this plan is to reduce the overall number of titles used across the Texas A&M System and to promote consistency and efficient administration of compensation processes for all Texas A&M System Members.
