TAMU-CC is committed to investigating and resolving complaints as efficiently and effectively as possible. We believe providing a mechanism for complaints to be heard gives us the opportunity to improve our service.

Complaints can be filed using the Texas A&M University System online EthicsPoint reporting system. Complaints can also be made by phone at 888.501.3850 directly to Ethics Point. This includes complaints related to Civil Rights/Title IX, to report fraud, waste, abuse, or other ethics violations

If you are a TAMU-CC mandatory reporter, you must report using the mandatory form report online.

To report immediate threats to life or property or if you require emergency assistance, please call 361.825.4444. Additional information about UPD services is available on the UPD website.

The university has established rules and procedures for reporting and resolving faculty and non-faculty grievances, student grievances and grade appeals, sexual harassment and research misconduct. Additional methods for addressing complaints are also available.

TAMUS Civil Rights Policies and Regulations

After exhausting the institution’s grievance/complaint process, current, former, and prospective students may follow the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) complaint process by filing a THECB complaint form online or mailing a or mailing a printed form and required documentation to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Office of General Counsel, P.O. Box 12788, Austin, Texas 78711-2788. Complaints are not accepted via fax.

The State Auditor's Office (SAO) investigates allegations of fraud, waste, or abuse relating to state funds associated with state agencies and institutions of higher education. SAO encourages complaint in writing, providing as much detail as possible. Persons who report fraud may choose to remain anonymous. Reporting options and additional information are available on the SAO reporting website.

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) process for submitting formal complaints against SACSCOC or its accredited institutions is outlined in its complaints policy statement. Formal complaints may be submitted in hard copy to the President, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097.
