Engagement Opportunities
The Office of Research (ORE) Engagement provides TAMU-CC extension services, helping to facilitate opportunities for faculty and staff to offer their expertise, training and consultation to South Texas and beyond. ORE cultivates relationships with local and regional partners in industry, local government, education, workforce development, state and local government agencies and others to find ways to maximize the positive impact of our culture of innovation and intellectual capital. Customized corporate training, formal and informal partnerships for mutually beneficial projects, and the strategic application of University resources to address societal problems are a few examples of the engagement opportunities that ORE can assist with.
The Office of Research Engagement believes that the key to successful partnerships is personal relationships, and we invite all who are interested in learning more about how we might work together to contact us as a first step.
Youth Programs
The focus of Youth Development is to provide our patrons with programs and opportunities that help develop educators and youth in our community.
TAMUCC offers a wide variety of programs for youth through Research Engagement and various departments across campus. Below are some links that may have a program right for your family
To protect the safety and well being of all participants, TAMU-CC has rigorous safety and oversight requirements for our youth programs. Faculty and staff that administer a youth program must follow the Campus Programs for Minors (CPM) protocols found on the CPM page.
