Guitar

At TAMUCC we offer a wide variety of guitar classes for beginners as well as advanced classical guitar students

For the beginning student we offer group and private instruction focused on the basics of guitar playing. No prior experience is necessary.

For advanced classical guitar students or those wishing to major in music we offer weekly private instruction and performance labs. Students will get plenty of one on one time with their instructors. Private lessons are custom tailored to each student to help them with their individual needs.

We have many performance opportunities for our guitarists. Guitar majors will be able to perform solo or with a classical guitar ensemble. Our guitarists frequently collaborate with many other instruments within our music department as well.
